While most ponies didn't go out on the town alone, Eris preferred to. The idea of trying to coordinate some sort of group outing made her want to throw up because she knew there was no way she could please everypony and she had no desire to deal with that sort of pressure. Even just going with one other pony sounded too complicateed, so Eris just found it easier to deal with herself and only herself if she wanted to go out and do things.
This was what found her, on a Friday night, sitting alone at a table in the Nimbus Lounge with a bowl of fancy salad and an iced tea. Some ponies had dressed up, but the most Eris had done was put on a ruby bracelet to match her mane. There was nopony she needed to look nice for, so she saw no point getting all dolled up so that she could sit alone, listen to music, and eat a salad.
After a few minutes of nibbling, she thought she saw a stallion she recognized and perked up. As much as she liked coming alone, she didn't like remaining alone and seeing somepony that she could coerce into joining her was always a plus. After he came into clearer view, however, he turned out to be no one in particular. Sighing, Eris slumped back down and went back to eating her salad, resigning herself to a lonely dinner and an even lonelier evening.

BLACKJACKshot for the stars if it feels right, and aim for my heart if you feel like⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆ Another day, another delivery.
His hooves clopped loudly against the cobblestone as he landed heavily, due to the weight of his cargo. On either side of his body, two boxes hung, full of who-knows-what. All he knew was who to deliver the goods to, and that's all that mattered. It had been a long journey, all the way from Fillydelphia to his favorite place in the world; Cloudsdale.
As he approached the lounge, the colt grinned. This place was one of his favorite haunts, after all. It really couldn't have worked out any better.
After finding the manager and completing the delivery (whom was very pleased to receive his artistically sculpted ceramic bowls), Blackjack trotted straight over to the bar counter and ordered himself a fruity soda drink. As his drink was being prepared, he started to look around the room. Tail flicking in gleeful anticipation, he spotted a pretty filly all by herself. It was time for a little Casa Nova-ing!
Grabbing his drink, the player trotted over to Eris' table. Resting his drink on the edge of her table, he gave her one of his smoldering gazes. "Why hello there. " He said, his voice smooth like velvet. A mischievous grin spread upon his face as he asked, seemingly out of the blue, " Did it hurt?" Sure, pick-up lines were cheesy, but that didn't mean they didn't work! Eris was nonplussed in general by stallions, but she couldn't say that she didn't like the attention. Still, she had to make sure that she at least looked like she had her standards and stallions like this one, who was clearly unafraid to be obnoxious and therefore was probably an idiot, needed to be carefully screened. When he sat down, she looked at him, her face blank and her mouth in a straight line.
"Excuse me?" she asked, drawing her brows together. She was itching to look around at her body to check for any injuries she hadn't known about--after all, as a stunt flyer, she was liable to sustain many injuries and just ignore them out of convenience and habit--but she didn't want to seem weak in front of him. Because that would obviously have been his first thought--she was weak. Instead, she stared him down, forehead in a dramatic V.
[[omg sorry it's so short and took me so long. I suck. D:]]
