Rarity was fairly certain that her entire team was now here and she beamed at them both, fluffing her hair. As the oldest [and the prettiest], she knew her authority as being In Charge would not be challenged. Today would be a good day. Even Opalescence, who was sitting at her feet, looked less grumpy than usual.
"Good morning, girls. Are you ready to start nest building? I can give you a tutorial of the basics, if you'd like."

Apple Bloom bounced on her hooves excitedly. It wasn't every day that she got to spend time with Rarity, a pony who she thought was supremely cool even if she was a little bit frilly and stuck up sometimes.
"Am I ever!" She replied to the question of her readiness. "We're gonna build the best nests them Ponyville birds have ever seen! I've been thinking about designs all week! Lemme show you!"
Apple Bloom gathered up some twigs and started fiddling messily with them, ignoring Rarity's offer for a tutorial in her excitement. Sometimes the filly got a little bit carried away in her enthusiasm.

Rose nearly fell over herself in her haste to prove how ready she was, clambering over to the table and setting all of her Things on it. In her bag was an assortment of flowers grown in her brother's probably magical indoor garden, a collection of buttons that she had purchased with Rarity in mind, and a dozen spools of ribbon that she usually used for bouquets.
"Look, I brought decorations!" She spread them all out, taking up her entire third of the table. "We can put them in the nests so that the birds feel like it's personalized and they can pick their own!" She beamed.

Rarity looked at her proteges, eyebrows drawn together in a frown. How was she supposed to turn out a collection of perfect nests if her team members were so ridiculous?
"Ehh..." she said, looking around and trying to force a smile. "How...lovely." She eyed Apple Bloom's stick nest with distaste, wrinkling her nose at it. "Apple Bloom, dear, that simply isn't how it's done. Here, let me show you."
The correct amount of materials floated over to her and she picked them up, starting to carefully weave them, tongue between her teeth.
