littlewing had torn her favorite blue cape she wore. it wasnt like she hadnt been careful. but she had fallen from a cloud again and landed in a bush. she still had a few twigs in her hair which she coouldnt dislodge. her hooves were stained by paint, but she had beenn painting when she fell so her hooves tracked small amounts of paint as she walked forward unknowingly. she looked at the amazingly made dresses which seemed to glitter with their own light. if only she had enough money for one of those dresses!
she glanced around and sat waiting. she had never delt with Rarity before. never even really seen her. she was scared. she she heard she was very mean, at least, thats what the other school ponies said.

Rarity was in the backroom organizing her fabric. Ever since Sweetie Belle had done so, she'd figured out that cleaning up her mess every once in awhile was a good way to get some new ideas. Unfortunately, this deafened her to the tinkle of the door to her shop and so she didn't realize that anypony was standing there until she trotted out a few minutes after she'd arrived. Rarity was about to offer her most sincere apologies when she saw the state of her boutique's floor and shrieked.
"Oh!" she cried, rushing over. Just as quickly as she rushed, she was skittering back, trying to avoid getting paint on her precious, clean hooves. Rarity did not handle any sort of mess well at all and she was not about to let some tiny filly just waltz into her boutique and ruin everything. "Oh, what are you doing!?"
Rarity flailed around a little more until a sponge hovered over and started scrubbing at the paint on the floor. "Okay, now, don't move. Can I help you, dear?"

Littlewing waited there for a few minutes. she had staired at the whole store that could be seen from where she was. She hadnt been bothered by the wait. as she had a chance to explore the store never relizing she was tracking paint everywhere. she hadnt even relized she had been waiting there a good 15 minutes, but then Rarirt showed up. Littlewing heard a swueel of pain almost from her as she compalined of how her shop looked. she frightened Littlewing. who looked around and saw what she had caused. she blushed badly. trying her best to get ut an apology but she couldnt, so she gave up.
"i....i...i came here to get my cape fixed... i...im sorry maam." she said as her tail accidentally smeared some of the paint from it onto the floor. "o...oops! i... ill clean that up." she said as she used her mane to try and fix the mess but only mixed in other colors. she blushed and tried to clean it up with her cape. but only made it worse, far worse. she sighed and just sat down. "stupid brain.... sorry mmiss rarity...."

Sweetie Belle was SUPER excited to go see Rarity today. Rarity had to be the best big sister ever! Plus she was hoping that Rarity would have some glitter. Sweetie Belle needed the glitter so she could fill her hair with it. Sparkley hair was SURE to be pretty.
As she cheerily trotted into the store Sweetie Belle noticed a paint covered pony and paint all over the store! "Oh My!" She exclaimed. Sweetie Belle made very sure to not step in the paint as she made her way to Rarity. "Do you have any glitter I could have? I want my hair to sparkle!"

Rarity bit her tongue to keep from screaming again. Once was enough and she prided herself on her ability to remain poised and composed at all times. Even as she wanted to just throw the filly out with magic, she had to remain calm and make sure that everything got cleaned. The one sponge was not satisfying enough and so she called more out, setting them to scrubbing around the dripping filly before getting the rest of the store.
"Just sit still, dear," she said, voice flatter than usual, but as nice as she could make it under the circumstances. She was very proud of herself for keeping it all together, especially when her shop had very nearly been in mortal peril. This filly could have ruined everything--careful planning, careful construction, careful cleaning. She needed to get her out of there as soon as possible.
"Your cape, you say?" she asked, looking skeptic. She had to push down the urge to try to sell her a new one and dress her in something better--after all, she wanted this paint-covered thing out of her shop. Even though her choice of clothing was hideous. She ignored everything else the filly had said--her apologies were all well and good, but Rarity saw no need to acknowledge them in the face of all of this chaos. Maybe when she was done hating her life because the worst possible thing had happened to her shop, she could appreciate the fact that the filly wanted to make it up to her.
The paint was getting cleared up and everything was starting to look better when the next worst possible thing that could possibly happen happened--the door opened and Sweetie Belle walked in. Rarity tried not to visibly shudder. Her sister was a walking disaster when it came to the shop. Rarity backed up, trying to get away from both the juggernauts and their messes, though she did have a moment of gratitude when Sweetie Belle thought to walk around the paint instead of in it. She was such a good role model.
"Sweetie Belle," she said, giving her a stern look. "Can't you see that I am working?" She sighed, though, knowing that pointing this out would get her nowhere--her sister liked getting into things too much. "And don't go into the back and get glitter for yourself. Just sit tight and wait while I attend to this customer. And be careful about the paint!" She knew that Sweetie Belle had been fine the first time, but one never knew whether it was a conscious effort or a convenient coincidence and so Rarity wanted to make sure that Sweetie Belle had her thinking hooves on while she was walking around.

rarity wasnt as scary as she had thought, she was more...control needing and clean freak then scary. and littlewing relized what had happened and she sighed and ran out of the shop and returned a minute later. clean. having jumped in the lake. she had dried herself before entering the store again. her hair curling perfectly.
she smiled gently and took her cape off and handed it to rarity and blushed. "miss rarity, i didnt mean to causeso much trouble for you. if youd let me... id like to help you with the shop today.

Sweetie Belle didn't mean to frustrate her sister. Sometimes it seemed to happen for absolutely no reason. This would almost be one of those days except Rarity was grumpy cause somepony had tracked paint all over the store.
Maybe she and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders should try painting. That could be their special talent! But not around Rarity. Painting around Rarity would probably not be a good idea. But back to her original thought.
Rarity really didn't like things to be tracked in. And now the paint covered pony had dashed out, then come back in, this time mostly clean, except for her hooves which just so happened to be covered in mud. It was as if she had dried herself and forgotten to make sure her hooves were as dry as her fur.
Once again avoiding the paint on the floor, Sweetie Belle went over to a chair and settled herself down for a long wait if necessary.

"No thank you, dear," she said, trying to be as nice as possible In reality, Rarity was horrified by the suggestion--a tiny, messy filly help her? Where things needed to be neat, clean, orderly, and--most of all--perfect? As if.
At least Sweetie Belle was staying out of the way. That would have been all she needed--for her little sister to be getting into everything. As it was, she was already going to have her hands full with this filly. Trying not to cringe at the sight of her cape, she floated it over and examined it.
"What have you done to this cape?" she asked, wrinkling her nose.
